Apex Leadership Summit
Session I: July 7-10, 2013
Session II: July 14-17, 2013

The Apex Leadership Summit at The University of Mississippi is an exciting leaders training program offered to Mississippi high school students between their junior and senior years. Selected rising seniors will attend the event free of charge and will experience a program packed with leadership development, team building, and sessions covering ethics and social responsibility, problem-solving, developing a leadership resume, and community outreach.
Ole Miss staff and student leaders will supervise team-building sessions. Students will also participate in the Rebel Challenge Ropes Course, community outreach projects, and informational meetings with various academic programs.
Selection to this program is on a competitive basis. We are looking for students who have demonstrated leadership or leadership potential in their high school and community. Mississippi high school counselors are encouraged to nominate students for consideration. Nomination forms will be mailed to Mississippi high schools by March 22, 2013. The deadline to submit an application is Friday, April 12. Nominees will be notified of their selection status by May 3.
