SATURDAY SPECIAL EVENTS // Fall Visit Day

Fall Visit Day is designed to give visitors a chance to learn what The University of Mississippi is really like directly from faculty and currently enrolled students. An academic browse fair, tours of the campus and residence halls, and sessions on admissions and financial aid are offered. There will NOT be a football game on campus this day.

8:30 – 9:15 a.m.

 

Check in – Tad Smith Coliseum

9:15 – 9:45 a.m.

 

Welcome and University Overview — Coliseum

University officials will bring greetings from the University of Mississippi.
Student Leaders will be on hand following the welcome to guide you to the program sessions.

9:45 – 10:15 a.m.

 

Financial Aid Overview — Coliseum

Information is also available at Student Services Fair. A representative from the Office of Financial Aid will discuss scholarship and financial aid programs available to students.

10:30– 11:45 a.m.

 

Academic & Student Life Fair — Turner Center

Learn about the variety of academic programs offered by The University of Mississippi. Representatives from each academic major will be on hand to answer questions and discuss their programs. Representatives from Student Affairs offices, student organizations, and academic specialty programs will also be present to discuss the many opportunities available at Ole Miss.

Picnic in The Circle

Enjoy lunch and musical entertainment

12:00 – 2:30 p.m.

 

Campus Walking Tours — Information Tent in the Circle

Student-led tours of our beautiful campus leave every 30 minutes. Each tour lasts approximately 45 minutes.

12:00 – 2:30 p.m.

 

Double-Decker Bus Tours — The Circle

Jump aboard Oxford's famous Double-Decker bus for broader views of campus and Oxford. Tours depart every 30 minutes.

12:00 to 3:00 p.m.

 

Residence Halls Open House — Various Halls

Meet Resident Advisors and tour residence halls with student guides. During the open hall hours, please arrive at the front desk of the designated hall and check in with the attending staff to see the show rooms. See map for locations.

Pre-Health Professions — Student Union Ballroom

Staff from the Pre-Health Professions Advising Office and representatives from the University of Mississippi Medical Center will discuss the paths to health careers and the professional programs offered at our medical center campus.
