VISITING UM // Junior Preview Day

This program is designed specifically for high school juniors. Students and parents have an opportunity to meet with academic representatives from a variety of majors, tour the campus and residence halls, and gain financial aid and scholarship advice from our experts. Junior Preview Day also offers sessions on Admissions, Housing, Choosing a Major and Student Life. A picnic lunch in the Grove is provided.

*Although we do not charge admission for our visit programs, we are a community service centered university and would appreciate any donations for our Ole Miss Food Bank when you visit campus.

Junior Preview Day is a first-come, first-reserved event, which will close if capacity is reached. Please register early and, if unable to attend, please plan to visit Ole Miss on any of our other available visit days. THIS EVENT WILL NOT OPEN UNTIL 8 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE EVENT DATE.

Welcome from University Administration
University officials will bring greetings from the University of Mississippi.
Student Leaders will be on hand following the welcome to guide you to the academic program overview sessions.

Concurrent Sessions

Financial Aid Overview
Information is also available at Student Services Fair. A representative from the Office of Financial Aid will discuss scholarship and financial aid programs available to students.

College Search & Application Session
Students and parents can receive great advice on the college selection process. Session will also discuss campus visits, deadlines, and scholarship tips.

Pre-Health Professions
Staff from the Pre-Health Professions Advising Office and representatives from the University of Mississippi Medical Center will discuss the paths to health careers and the professional programs offered at our medical center campus.

Learn more about the Honors College at Ole Miss including the application timeline, requirements, academic curriculum, and more.

Academic Programs and Student Activities Fair
Learn about the variety of academic programs offered by The University of Mississippi. Representatives from each academic major will be on hand to answer questions and discuss their programs. Representatives from student life offices, student organizations, and academic specialty programs will also be present to discuss the many opportunities available at Ole Miss.

Campus Tours
Student-led tours of our beautiful campus leave every 30 minutes. Each tour last Approximately 45 minutes.

Residence Hall Open House
Meet Resident Advisors and tour residence halls with student guides. During the open hall hours, please arrive at the front desk of the designated hall and check in with the attending staff to see the show rooms. See map for locations.
