Adventure Trips Spring Semester 2010
The Spring Semester 2010 trip schedule has been established. It will be another exciting semester for everyone interested in pursuing an outdoor adventure activity. Check out the schedule - hopefully you will find one or more to your liking.

February 6: Climbing Clinic
Rebel Challenge Course
Price: $15
Hone in on various climbing technical skills such as knots, belaying and routes starting at 1:00p at the RCC.
February 14: Bike to Taylor
Price: $10
Bike the old railroad trail to Taylor for a Valentine's Day lunch at Emileigh's Bakery and scout out the antique store and art gallery. If you don't have your own bike, we will provide our Rebel Pedal bikes. Plue, you'll get a Fat Tire mountain biking t-shirt!
February 19-21: Horseback Riding
Shady Grove Dude Ranch, AL
Price: $150/$160
Bunk in the Farmhouse at Shady Grove Dude Ranch. Enjoy a horseback ride to their "secret waterfall," as well as pond fishing, hiking, and nature appreciation.
March 6: Yoga Hike
Wall Doxy State Park
Price: $20/$25
Kick back and enjoy an early spring day by the lake. wander along for the scenic hike, then relax with some yoga on the dock.
March 14-20: Spring Break A.T. Hiking Trip
Chattahoochee National Forrest, GA
Price: $150/$160
Starting in N. Georgia, we will head towards the Appalachian Trail, the longest trail in North America. The famous route also guided Confederate and Union soldiers during the Civil War. The N. GA section of the A.T. is home to severall spectacular overlooks and numerous cascading waterfalls.
March 26-28: Rock Climbing

April 10: Swamp Stomper

April 16: Hang Gliding
Lookout Mountain, GA

Soar like an eagle in this purest form of flight! After a half-day of instruction, fly with an instructor pilot by your side for a bird's eye view of beautiful Lookout Mountain. There's no better way to live the dream!
May 9-15: May Break Keelboat Sail/Kayak
Outer Banks, NC
Price: $570/$600
Spend 5 days and nights sailing on the 72 ft. gaff rig schooner sailboat, Jeanie B. you will learn everything from ocean sailing, to celestial navigation while exploring the beautiful southern outer banks. In addition, after our sail we will spend a day sea kayaking the area around Carrot Island where wild horses roam.
