Tickets and Seating
Tickets are not required to attend the morning Convocation or for any of the college/school ceremonies, and seating is not reserved. However, if any guests need accommodations because of mobility, hearing or other physical issues, you are encouraged to contact the University and Public Events office at 662-915-5203 or Christine Wallace at cswallac@olemiss.edu.

Emergency Medical Assistance Services (EMS)
a) EMS will be available at the University Avenue/All American Drive intersection for the Grove ceremony and on campus throughout the remainder of the day.
b) All information booths and ceremony venues will have basic first-aid kits.
Information Booths
Information booths and shuttle stops will be staffed by student leaders and campus colleagues; all are extremely familiar with campus. They can assist with shuttle inquiries, maps and driving directions, University Police communication and general first-aid supplies. Each information booth will have complimentary water available. We thank you in advance for using the appropriate waste receptacles to discard paper cups and plastic bottles after use. Student leaders or personnel at the information booths can assist with locating lost-and-found items.

Inclement Weather
In case of rain, the morning Convocation ceremony will be moved to C. M. "Tad" Smith Coliseum. (If the weather is threatening, a decision on moving the ceremony indoors will be made by 8 a.m. and announced through media outlets and the UM website http://olemiss.edu/)
On-Campus Refreshment Options
The Inn at Ole Miss
The Inn at Ole Miss will offer two seatings: 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Reservations ARE required. For reservations, please call the Alumni Office at 662-915-7375 or make one online. Brunch pricing is as follows:
Adults: $17.95 per person
Children 6-12: $10.95 per person
Children 5 and under: free
The featured items will include: shrimp and grits, braised brisket, crab cakes, fried chicken and catfish, croque madame, omelet station, blueberry breakfast casserole, sticky buns and an assortment of desserts.
Alcoholic beverages are not available at the brunch. Cancellation policy may be in effect.
What we will need from you:
- Guest's first and last name that the reservation is under (we do not need each name in the party)
- Reservation time
- Number of guests in party (please list how many children under 12 and 5)
- *All guests must pre-pay with Alumni*
Student Union Building
The following establishments will be open in the Student Union on Saturday, May 11, from 7:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Cash, Rebel Card credit and debit cards accepted for payment.
- Chick-Fil-A
Early-morning sausage and biscuits, famous Chick-Fil-A sandwiches and tempting chargrilled chicken salad with honey dijon dressing will be available. - Burger Studio
A variety of breakfast items, hamburgers, cheeseburgers and Boca burgers will be available. - Magnolia Kitchen
Both breakfast and lunch plates will be available ranging from $5.00 to $6.99 per person. A fountain beverage station will be available and is included in the plate options. Individual items and beverages also can be purchased.
Water Stations
Two water stations will be available in the Grove. In addition, the 10 information booths will have complimentary water available.
Early Morning Coffee, Water and Soda
In addition to the refreshment options listed above, Ole Miss Catering will offer coffee, hot tea, water and soda in the Student Union.

Invitation Information
Invitations can be ordered and purchased through University Communications at printing@olemiss.edu. The generic A6 or A7 invitations are $1.00 per set (includes blank envelope). Personalized A6 or A7 invitations are $1.00, with a $60.00 set-up charge. The optional personalized inside cards can be ordered in quantities of 25 ($17.00), 50 ($20.00), 75 ($23.00) or 100 ($25.00).
Photography
A professional photographer will take photographs of all degree candidates as each candidate receives his or her diploma cover. Proofs will be emailed to each graduate's Ole Miss email account by the photography vendor.

When do I need to order my cap and gown?
Bachelor's Degree Candidates: In order to ensure delivery on time for the ceremony, you must place your order with the Ole Miss Bookstore no later than April 9. You may email graduation@olemiss.edu to place your order for cap and gown. In the email, please include your name, degree, height, chest size, credit card number and expiration date. The cost for the rental of your regalia is $34.22, which includes tax.
Master's/Specialist's Degree Candidates: In order to ensure delivery on time for the ceremony, you must place your order with the Ole Miss Bookstore no later than April 9. You may email graduation@olemiss.edu to place your order for cap and gown. In the email, please include your name, degree, height, chest size, credit card number and expiration date. The cost for the rental of your regalia is $69.53, which includes tax.
Doctoral Degree Candidates: In order to ensure delivery on time for the ceremony, you must place your order with the Ole Miss Bookstore no later than April 9. You may email graduation@olemiss.edu to place your order for cap and gown. In the email please include your name, degree, height, chest size, credit card number and expiration date. The cost for the rental of your regalia is $73.81, which includes tax.
Beginning April 10, a late fee of $25 is charged for all commencement regalia orders. The final day to order regalia is April 23.
What is the estimated length of time for the ceremony?
Typically, each ceremony will last between one to one-and-a half hours.
What correspondence will candidates for graduation receive from the University?
Each candidate for graduation, along with their families, will receive formal invitations, parking maps, and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) that are sent to the address on file with the Registrar's office. The mailings begin the last week of March. Individual college and schools may also send information to you and your families. Please check with your Dean's office about additional communication. Also, we encourage candidates and their families to check the Commencement website on a weekly basis, as frequent updates are posted.
