Music Scholarships

Scholarships are available for students, Music majors and non-Music majors, who participate in band, choir or orchestra. A limited number of Music Excellence scholarships are also awarded to Music majors by the Department of Music; recipients are nominated by the Music faculty. For Audition information:

In addition to awards administered by those ensembles, the Department of Music awards a number of endowed scholarships for music majors and ensemble members. Endowed scholarships are awarded according to a variety of criteria -- e.g. musical talent, academic merit, performance medium (piano, voice, various band/orchestra instruments) -- and/or for participation various ensembles (band choir, orchestra, opera, and jazz ensemble, as well as for scholarly productivity.
