There will be an audio component for our meeting that will allow you to hear the instructor. When class begins, the instructor will notify you to turn on the audio. To access the instructor's audio, MINIMIZE the Virtual Classroom window (THERE IS NO NEED TO EXIT THE VIRTUAL CLASSROOM TO START THE AUDIO), and browse to COURSE DOCUMENTS. Click "Live Meeting Session" and choose Page 1 or 2 depending on your computer's connection speed: choose page 1, "DSL/High Speed Connection" if you're using a DSL or Cable connection or if you're on a university computer with a network connection. Choose page 2, "Modem Connection" if you're using a standard 28 or 56K phone modem. Windows Media Player will automatically launch in a separate window. Depending on your modem speed, it may take several seconds for the audio to load. If it has not loaded in a couple of minutes, shut down the Windows Media Player window and restart it by clicking the "Live Meeting Session" link again. When you can hear the audio, minimize the Media Player window and return to this Virtual Classroom window to participate in online "chat" and view instruction materials. Please wait to access the audio until the instructor starts class.
If at any time you stop receiving images or information in the Virtual Classroom window, you should exit the Virtual Classroom and re-enter. The Classroom will restore the graphics and any chat that you missed.
