The Composite Materials Research Group (CMRG) at the University of Mississippi was established in 1986 and focuses on composite materials research related to the pultrusion process. The CMRG is actively involved in research efforts related to mechanical testing, process development, optimization, and process modeling for pultruded composites. The CMRG's pultrusion experience and commercial-scale pultrusion facilities make it the leader in the area of pultrusion research in an academic setting.
