Ms. Sherwood joined the Center staff in August 2002, having worked in various areas of the legal field for over 15 years. She was employed as secretary and office manager for the District Attorney for the 11th Circuit Court District of Mississippi, encompassing Bolivar, Coahoma, Tunica and Quitman Counties, where she helped implement and administrate the first Bad Check Unit. She was also employed as loan closing coordinator for the Oxford law firm of Hickman, Goza & Gore. She subsequently worked as secretary and office manager for Cleveland, Mississippi, attorney, Glenn Williams, until she relocated to Oxford in 2001. Ms. Sherwood now serves as legal secretary for the Center.
