The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Biography: Christy M. Wyandt

Interim Dean of the Graduate School

photo of Christy M. WyandtChristy M. Wyandt serves as the interim dean of the Graduate School, professor of Pharmaceutics and research professor in the Research Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences. She joined the faculty of the School of Pharmacy in 1989, served as chair of the Department of Pharmaceutics from 1999-2003 and became associate dean of the Graduate School on July 1, 2003. She received a B.A. in chemistry from Carleton College and a Ph.D. in pharmaceutics from the University of Iowa. Prior to joining the faculty, she worked in product development in the pharmaceutical industry for seven years.

She is author or co-author of over 100 published manuscripts and presentations at national or international meetings and has had success in obtaining extramural funding through grants and contracts to support her research. She taught four different undergraduate courses, five different graduate courses. She served as major advisor to eight doctoral students and nine master's students.
