The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Brief Bio

Brian W. Hopkins is UM's Deputy CIO for Academic Technology. Dr. Hopkins completed a Ph.D. in Chemistry in 2006, working in the Computational Quantum Chemistry group of Dr. Gregory S. Tschumper at the University of Mississippi. After two years as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Utah, Dr. Hopkins returned to UM to work full time at the Mississippi Center for Supercomputing Research in 2008. He worked at MCSR for 8 years, serving as Director of the Center from 2011 on, before transitioning to his current role in July 2016. As Deputy CIO for Academic Technology, Dr. Hopkins is responsible for leading UM's technology efforts in support of classroom instruction. Offices that report through Dr. Hopkins include the IT Help Desk; Faculty Technology Development Center; IT Media; Classroom Technology; and Outreach IT.
