Carol Minor Boyd is former chair and Professor of Social Work at the University of Social Work. Dr. Boyd received the Ed.D. in education administration at Del MSW degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. For 19 years she has se of social work (9 years at the University of Mississippi and 12 years at Delta 2011-12 school-year she served as Interim Dean of the School of Applied Science accreditation site visitor for the Council on Social Work Education. Dr. Boyd h of Social Work Board (the agency that develops and administers the social work over 15 years as a volunteer. She has also served in various capacities and as Association of Social Workers.
