The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Brief Bio

Eddie Carr joined the Haley Barbour Center for Manufacturing Excellence as a Professor of Practice, after a long career in Senior Management of industries in the mid-south. Companies he's served with include Thomas and Betts, Master-Bilt, Chromcraft Corporation, and Dover Elevator where he was General Manufacturing Manager for North American Manufacturing. In addition to instructional responsibilities for the Lean Manufacturing courses of the CME currriculum, he assists with identification of business needs of area industries and potential involvement of students, based on the mission and vision of the CME. He holds a BS degree in Industrial Engineering from Mississippi State University, and a MS degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Memphis. Mr. Carr is a Six Sigma Black Belt Professional and a licensed Professional Engineer in the states of Tennessee and Mississippi.
