Hillary Sapanski
Brief Bio
Hillary Sapanski is an Adjunct Professor with the School of Education. Hillary received a Masters in Elementary Education from Johns Hopkins University in 2016, and a Masters in Community Development from Delta State University in 2020. Hillary has been with the Mississippi Department of Education since 2016, and currently serves as a Regional Literacy Coordinator, assisting with the implementation of the Literacy Based Promotion Act by working with teachers, administrators, district personnel, and MDE literacy coaches across the state to improve literacy outcomes for K-3 students. In addition, Hillary is the founder of EPIC Mississippi, a free text message program for parents that provides simple, accessible literacy tips and activities to do at home.
