Brief Bio
Dr. Jamie L. Wagner received her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from Midwestern University Chicago College of Pharmacy in 2012. She completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. She continued her post- doctoral training with an Infectious Diseases Pharmacotherapy Outcomes Fellowship at Wayne State University and Henry Ford Hospital. Dr. Wagner currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy. Her clinical practice is as an Antimicrobial Stewardship Clinical Pharmacist at St. Dominic Jackson-Memorial Hospital. Dr. Wagner enjoys teaching 2nd and 3rd year pharmacy students, precepting 4th year pharmacy students, and precepting PGY1 and PGY2 residents. She also enjoys performing quality research with trainees and other collaborators to help advance patient care in the realm of antibiotic stewardship. Dr. Wagner not only serves on several Pharmacy Practice department committees, but she also is very involved with pharmacy organizations, including the Society for Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (sidp.org), the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (accp.com), and the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (aacp.org).
