Leigh Ann Ross
Brief Bio
Leigh Ann Ross is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy. Dr. Ross received Bachelor of Business Administration (1993) and Doctor of Pharmacy (1998) degrees from the University of Mississippi. She completed a Pharmacy Residency in Primary Care at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Upon completion of her residency, Dr. Ross joined the faculty of the School of Pharmacy. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and an Assistant Professor in the School of Medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dr. Ross is a Past President of the Mississippi Pharmacists Association and is an active member in a number of professional organizations. In 2006-2007, Dr. Ross completed a Congressional Health Fellowship in the Office of United States Senator Thad Cochran. Effective July 1, 2008, Dr. Ross will assume the position of Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs and Chair of the Department of Pharmacy Practice.
