Brief Bio
Paula Temple is a Full Professor of Art. She received her MFA from the University of Tennessee in 1972. Following 12 years of work as an illustrator, exhibiting artist, graphic designer, and a Peace Corps Contract in the Eastern Caribbean, she took a position of Assistant Professor of Art at the University of Mississippi in 1985. Paula Temple has received awards from the American Cancer Society, Eli Lilly Company, with commissions. She has also exhibited in "Artist Who Teach" Centennial Exhibition in Washington, DC, The American Embassy in Bridgetown, Barbados, and in numerous solo, invitational, and juried exhibitions. Ms. Temple teaches courses in Figure Drawing, Watercolor and Graphic Design in the Department of Art at the University of Mississippi.
