Regina Biggers
Brief Bio
Regina Biggers is an adjunct instructor for the Educational Leadership department at the University of Mississippi. Dr. Biggers has an undergraduate degree in elementary education from Mississippi State University, a master's degree from the University of Mississippi in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis in reading and language arts, a certification in special education, an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Mississippi, and is a graduate of the Mississippi School Board Association's Superintendents' Academy. She has served in public education for the past 15 years as a teacher, principal, and in the central office. She currently serves as the elementary curriculum coordinator for the Scott County School District, a student intern supervisor for Mississippi State, and a facilitator for the East Mississippi Center for Educational Development, where she established and leads an elementary principals' collaborative for administrators in her region. Dr. Biggers has a genuine passion for school improvement, educational growth, and building positive cultures. She firmly believes in the power of effective leadership and is committed to building stronger leaders through the University of Mississippi and within her own school district.
