Steve Hurdle
Brief Bio
Steve Hurdle is an adjunct instructor in Educational Leadership. Dr. Hurdle has served in the K-12 world for the past 15 years. He has served in leadership roles in his school, community, and church. Dr. Hurdle is currently serving as the Director of Career and Technical Education (CTE) for the Oxford School District. As CTE director, Dr. Hurdle spends much time on developing relationships with business, industry, and post-secondary partners. His job responsibilities include developing and implementing a Middle College in the Oxford School District, establishing six new CTE programs to begin in the fall of 2020, and serving as district coordinator of counseling services. Prior to becoming the CTE director, Dr. Hurdle was the founding principal of Oxford Intermediate School in 2014. He has also served as a high school principal, assistant principal, assistant CTE director, and a National Board certified teacher. He has lived almost all of his life in the Oxford area. He has been happily married for the past 16 years. His wife and he are blessed to be parents of a 15 year old daughter.
