UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES


The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Brief Bio

Sarah Moses is Associate Professor of Religion. She began as an Instructor in the Department of Philosophy & Religion at the University of Mississippi in 2008. She holds a PhD from Boston College and a Master of Divinity from Harvard University. Her teaching and research interests include ethics and contemporary aging, medical ethics, and comparative religious ethics. Her book Ethics and the Elderly (Orbis Books, 2015) was awarded "Best First Book" by the Society of Christian Ethics in 2018. Locally she serves on the ethics committee of Baptist Memorial Hospital--North Mississippi and on the board of Memory Makers (a day program for seniors with dementia).
