Brief Bio
Stacy Rodgers is a Professor at The University of Mississippi where he is Head of Keyboard Studies and Collaborative Piano. He has a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, and a Master of Music degree in Piano Pedagogy and Literature from The University of Texas in Austin. Mr. Rodgers teaches piano performance, literature, private and group piano pedagogy, accompanying, chamber music, and an occasional theory or history class. He performs frequently with his wife Diane Wang as a piano duo and four-hand team, and with music faculty from all performance areas. In a typical year, he performs more than 20 different full-length programs. Mr. Rodgers has appeared many times at College Music Society regional, national, and international conferences, on each occasion presenting works by significant American composers as well as new unpublished works.
