Andrew Fulkerson
Brief Bio
Dr. Andrew Fulkerson is the former Judge of the Greene County, Arkansas District Court and former deputy prosecuting attorney for the Second Judicial Circuit of Arkansas. He also served as Special Justice of the Supreme Court of Arkansas. Fulkerson holds a B.A and M.A, from Arkansas State University, a J.D. from the University of Arkansas where served as associate editor of the Arkansas Law Review, and a Ph.D. from the University of Portsmouth, U. K. He is a former member of the Arkansas Judicial Discipline and Disability Commission, and past president of the Arkansas District Judges Council. Fulkerson recently retired as professor of criminal justice for the Department of Criminal Justice Sociology at Southeast Missouri State University. He is a member of the Executive Council the Quapaw Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America, served as a member and past Chairman of the Arkansas PBS Commission, a member of the board of directors of the Restorative Justice Section of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences. His research interests include the death penalty, restorative justice issues, and drug treatment courts.
