ABSTRACT

Accessing a Robot Arm Through the Internet to Play Tic-Tac-Toe

The goal of my project is to demonstrate that a robotic arm can be controlled by way of the internet and used to create a user friendly interface. To prove that this goal can be achieved a program has been written to enable the robot to play a simple child's game of tic-tac-toe. Thus far the program has proven near success in achieving the specified goal. However, much research is needed to have total success. As this research continues, a web interface will be created with controls that properly access and move the robotic arm to a desired position. When this research is finished, hopefully users from everywhere will be able to click on the robot's URL and enjoy a challenging game of tic-tac-toe.
