  • ABSTRACT

The Advantages and Disadvantages of Looping in Elementary Schools

The purpose of this study is to research the advantages and disadvantages of looping. Looping is a new teaching strategy that is being used in some elementary schools. This practice of looping is more common in Europe than in the United States. With this strategy, teachers and students are grouped together for two or three years. Looping allows students, teachers, and parents to form a bond that enhances a child's learning experiences.
