Welcome to the homepage of the 1998 Ronald E. McNair Scholars!
We would like to Thank You for visiting our website. This summer
twenty of us participated in a six week summer resarch program. Our
activities included going on a culture trip to the Civil Rights Museum
in Memphis (see picture below); taking a graduate level course on research
writing skills; participating in a GRE and a computer workshop. Some
of us also participated in numerous conference held through the United
