ABSTRACT

Birth Order, Personality Characteristics, and Career Choices


This study reviewed previous research of birth order, the five personality factors, and it looked at careers that were thought to be more likely to be picked by each birth order position.  After giving out a questionnaire to determine personality, career choices, and birth order, it was found that neuroticism was related to birth order.  It was also found that there was a trend level significance for conscientiousness, and openness to experience.
