Synonym Search Helps and Hints

This search yields a table of currently accepted names and synonyms based on the USDA PLANTS database, and includes
many names that are not represented by specimens in our herbarium. Using the currently accepted name in the
Advanced Search will yield records filed under the currently accepted names and under all its synonyms.

Scientific Name: Enter a genus and specific epithet; the more complete the name entered, the more likely the search will
yield the desired taxon.
Sort Order: Choose from the drop-down list to determine the sorting order of the search results.
