Yes, need-based scholarships are available. See the online application to apply.
I'm not a Biology major, can I still apply?
Yes! As long as you are a freshman enrolled in BISC160, you can participate in Bootcamp!
I'm in the Honors College, Lucky Day, IMAGE, or the Provost scholars and they expect me to be at an event during Bootcamp. Can I still participate?
Yes! We try to organize our schedule so that you don't have to miss out on either opportunity.
Will I need to purchase more biology books next year?
Biology Bootcamp participants receive the textbook and 3-year access to the online resources as part of the Bootcamp costs. These will be used in the Fall BISC160 course and the Spring BISC162 course. However, you will need to purchase the laboratory manuals for the co-requisite courses BISC161 (fall) and BISC162 (spring).
