Beth Mitchell is an instructor in the Department of Writing and Rhetoric

Research Interests

Her main teaching interest has been Developmental Writing. She has presented on student engagement, student volunteer work and writing, and various classroom activities at regional conferences.

Biography

She earned her M.A.in English from University of Mississippi. She led the efforts to begin offering DS094 in MS. She piloted the program which led to the course creation at University of Mississippi, the first four-year school to offer such a course.
