Brief Bio
Ethel Young-Minor is Associate Professor of English and African American Studies. Dr. Young-Minor received her Ph.D. from Bowling Green State University of Ohio in 1997. She began her distinguished career as a professor at the University of Mississippi. Dr. Minor has published articles and reviews of African American literature in signal publications. She received the College of Liberal Arts Teacher of the Year Award in 2003 and has received many awards because of her service to students beyond the classroom.
