UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES


The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Brief Bio

Roy J. Thurston is an Assistant Professor of Special Education and received his Ph.D. from the University of Calgary, in Alberta, Canada. He has worked as a front line educator and professor in Canada at the University of Saskatchewan and the United States at Cal State San Bernardino, and Minnesota State University. His research area is in the field of cognitive rehabilitation of traumatic brain injured individuals (TBI), and in Neuroscience applications to Education.
