UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Brief Bio

Todd A. Smitherman, Ph.D., FAHS, is Assistant Professor and Director of the Center for Behavioral Medicine in the Department of Psychology at the University of Mississippi. He has published over 40 peer-reviewed journal articles and numerous book chapters, most pertaining to psychiatric comorbidities and behavioral issues in headache disorders. His research has been supported by the Migraine Research Foundation and Merck Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Smitherman serves as Associate Editor for the journal Headache, is a Fellow of the American Headache Society, and has served as a consultant for the National Institutes of Health.
