Whitney Barton is an Instructor of Accountancy.
Biography
Whitney (Farrell) Barton is a Patterson School of Accountancy alumna, CPA, and Instructor of Accountancy. She graduated summa cum laude with her Bachelor of Accountancy degree in 2007 and Master of Accountancy degree in 2008. Barton was awarded the Taylor Medal in 2007.
Professor Barton joined the faculty in 2015. Prior to that, she worked in public accounting and later in investments as a hedge fund analyst.
Barton is a native of Ripley, MS. She is married to Aaron, a Texas A&M alumnus and native of Lake Jackson, TX. They have two children.
