Blackboard Ultra Day - March 4, 2025
You are invited to Blackboard Day at UM! On March 4th, Blackboard representatives will be on campus to team up with the Faculty Technology Development Center to provide a day of training focused on Blackboard Ultra.
What is Blackboard Learn Ultra? Blackboard Learn Ultra is a simple, modern, updated, and more intuitive course environment that is easier for instructors and students. Simplified tools and streamlined workflows help learners and instructors stay organized and easily engage with content and each other. UM is currently in the process of transitioning to the Ultra format. Beginning in the Spring 2026 semester, all courses offered in Blackboard will be required to use the Ultra course format.
Who should attend? We are offering sessions for all instructors. There will be hands-on workshops where you can begin building your course as various Ultra features are demonstrated, as well as other sessions for current and new users. See session descriptions for more details.
