Alicia Bouldin
Associate Dean of Outcome Assessment & Learning Advancement, Professor of Pharmacy Administration and Research Professor in the Research Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences
As Associate Dean for Outcomes Assessment and Learning Advancement, Dr. Bouldin contributes to the program evaluation, strategic planning and accreditation activities within the School of Pharmacy, facilitating success and quality improvement. As Professor of Pharmacy Administration, she teaches in the School’s undergraduate and graduate programs and serves as advisor to developing scholars.
Biography
Alicia Bouldin is a Professor of Pharmacy Administration and the Associate Dean for Outcomes Assessment and Learning Advancement at The University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy. An active pharmacy educator, Bouldin has served two terms as a Distinguished Teaching Scholar within the School of Pharmacy. She has written several book chapters and has been involved in numerous courses and development workshops to support the profession through education of student pharmacists, practicing pharmacists, residents, graduate students, teaching assistants, and other pharmacy educators.
A past national president of Phi Lambda Sigma national pharmacy leadership society, she has been consistently devoted to student professional development. She has served the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy in both elected and appointed capacities, and continues to contribute to local, regional and national efforts in the areas of curriculum and assessment. Bouldin’s research interests include factors influencing teaching and learning in pharmacy education, including motivation, involvement, self-efficacy, leadership, professionalism and professional identity formation.
