I am currently an assistant professor at the University of Mississippi. My work explores children and punishment, examining how children are punished by various social institutions, causes of this punishment, and consequences of punishment. I use secondary data and quasi-experimental approaches to examine the long-term impacts of punishment in childhood on outcomes in adolescence.
