Brief Bio
Greg Johnson has served as Associate Professor and Curator of the Blues Archive in the Department of Archives and Special Collections at the University of Mississippi since 2002. He received his Masters of Library and Information Science from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2002, where he also received a Bachelor of Music in history and literature in 2000. He has served as president of the Society of Mississippi Archivists and is a member of the Music Library Association and the Association for Recorded Sound Collections. He has given well over 100 presentations on the blues, civil rights, and other musical traditions.
