Dr. John Bruce is Chair and Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Mississippi.

Research Interests

Dr. Bruce's research interests include political parties, voting behavior, public opinion, and research design.

Biography

Dr. Bruce has been at the University of Mississippi since 1996. Prior to this he was on the faculty at Georgetown University for three years and had an appointment at the Harvard Data Center. He received his PhD and MA from Ohio State University. He has been chair of the Political Science department since 2012.
