Ph.D. in Marketing

This program focuses on preparing doctoral students for top-level research and teaching positions in the U.S. and abroad. To accomplish this, we foster meaningful faculty/student relationships that enable our students to learn first-hand from respected faculty who already have established successful careers in academia.

Ph.D. in Marketing Emphasis

The Ph.D. in Marketing program is designed to be completed in four years. During the first two years, students take a variety of seminars such as marketing strategy, marketing theory, and consumer behavior, as well as a number of quantitative and research methods courses. Our program allows students to customize their curriculum to an extent in order to best fit their individual interests and needs. Students then spend the last two years working closely with their chosen faculty advisor and committee members to successfully propose and defend their dissertation. While the program is designed to be completed in four years, funding for a 5th year is possible based on need and availability.
