The event begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Overby Center auditorium, followed by a reception. Admission is free and open to the public.

Overby Center chairman and founder Charles Overby, a Pulitzer Prize gold medalist, will interview Page about President Donald Trump's first 100 days in office. Page recently co-authored an article about some of the president's changes.

Her visit to the Ole Miss center falls on the 99th day of President Trump's second term.

An award-winning White House correspondent, Page's resume includes:

  • Covering 11 presidential elections
  • Moderating the 2020 vice presidential debate
  • Interviewing 10 U.S. presidents.

A New York Times bestselling author, Page will discuss her perspectives on the role of the media, national politics and the subjects of her three political biographies: Barbara Bush, Nancy Pelosi and Barbara Walters.

"We are excited to have Susan Page share her insights with students and the Ole Miss community," Overby said.

"Susan's expertise and fairness are widely recognized through the awards she has won and her frequent guest appearances on television. Because she has interviewed 10 presidents, she has seen up close how the White House works and, sometimes, doesn't work."
