OXFORD, Miss. – With the hustle and bustle of a new academic year, visitors to the University of Mississippi will notice construction fences and ongoing projects all across campus.

"Every single one of these projects is advancing our mission," Chancellor Glenn Boyce said. "I am confident that what we will accomplish here in the next two to three years will carry this university forward for the next 40."

Projects under way across campus include:

  • Kincannon Site Student Housing: Construction is continuing with the north building already reaching its fifth, and top, floor. Concrete is being poured for the south building and building units will be placed on the slabs within the next six weeks. The project is scheduled to be complete and occupied in August 2027.
