Well done, finish strong! End of Semester Message from Chancellor Boyce
Congratulations on your hard work and academic achievements this semester. I hope you feel inspired by what you’ve learned, more curious about the world around you and one step closer to your career goals. As we approach finals week, here are three tips for succeeding on your exams:
Prepare
Don’t wing it! Know your exam schedule. If anything is unclear about the schedule or your professors’ expectations, contact them now.
Prioritize your responsibilities, set aside time to study independently and work with classmates to review study materials and class notes.
Care for Yourself
Our minds work best when we care for our bodies. Get plenty of sleep, take breaks and eat well. Consider incorporating movement into your day if you’re able, like a short walk or stretch. If you feel overwhelmed, reach out to the caring team at the University Counseling Center. They are here to help.
Find healthy ways to connect with friends and enjoy our community. Check out the Ole Miss Events Calendar, the ForUM, Visit Oxford and the Ole Miss Student Hub on Instagram for fun activities.
Recharge
When you return home, celebrate all that you’ve accomplished with family and friends. And remember that you’re still part of the Ole Miss family – we’re here if you need us.
Students, you are the heart of the Ole Miss community. I'm incredibly proud of you, your energy and the vibrant spirit you bring to campus each day. I hope you have a safe and restful break. We'll be ready to welcome you back in the spring for another great semester!
