Assistant Dean for Student Services
Biography
Beth Whittington is the Assistant Dean for Student Services and oversees the School of Business Advising Office where she works with students on their academic progression from the time they are a prospect through graduation. She represents the School of Business on many committees at the university including Academic Policy Review, Financial Aid Scholarship, and Project Encompass. Internally, she serves on Executive, Curriculum, and Scholarship committees. She holds a Master of Arts in Higher Education/Student Personnel from the University of Mississippi and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Mississippi State University. She’s been with the University of Mississippi since 2012.
Outside of work, Beth enjoys traveling with her family- mostly to Disney World! She’s also an avid runner, having completed 9 full marathons and more than 30 half marathons.
