Biography

Christopher Burger is an Instructional Assistant Professor at the University of Mississippi's School of Engineering's Department of Computer and Information Science. He received his PhD in Engineering Science from the University of Mississippi in 2024. His interests concentrate in applied predictive modeling, especially the verification, validation, and interpretation of machine learning models. He also has interests in biologically inspired methods for machine learning, focused on nonstandard neural network architecture and emergent behavior in artificial biological systems.
