Dr. Jon Moen is an associate professor of economics and chair of the economics department at the University of Mississippi.
Research Interests
Dr. Jon Moens current research covers re-estimating historical labor force participation rates for men sixty-five and older in the United States, but he also maintains research interests in banking panics in historical perspective and is working on a book on the Bank Panic of 1907.
Biography
Dr. Jon Moen earned his M.A. and Ph.D. in economics from the University of Chicago. He earned his B.A. in economics from Olaf College.
