Biography
Carmen Sanchis-Sinisterra is from Valencia, Spain. She is a professor of Hispanic Cultural Studies at the University of Mississippi. She earned her M.A. in this discipline at the University of Iowa and her Ph.D. at the Graduate Center, CUNY, in New York City. As a teacher she seeks to foster connection between the university and the Hispanic community around her, as a researcher she explores feminist themes.
