Biography
Robyn Wright earned her BA and BAE in Spanish and Spanish Education and her MA in Hispanic Linguistics at the University of Arizona and her PhD in Hispanic Linguistics at the University of Texas at Austin. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Modern Languages at the University of Mississippi where she teaches courses in Spanish, Linguistics and Hispanic Linguistics. Her research interests include sociolinguistics, Hispanic linguistics and language contact. She is particularly interested in language variation and change and language attitudes.
