Dr. Xiang Xu is a Visiting Instructor in the Department of History at the University of Mississippi.

Research Interests

Dr. Xu's specialization includes 18th- and 19th-century United States history, intellectual history, conservatism, and the American Founding. His dissertation title was "The Champion of "The Permanent Things:" The Imaginative Conservatism of Russell Kirk, Robert Nisbet, and Richard Weaver."
