Community Pharmacy Enhanced Services Network (CPESN)

CPESN USA is America’s first clinically integrated network of pharmacy providers. Now, with more than 3,500 community pharmacies participating in 49 local networks in 44 states, it is the pharmacy’s fourth largest single contracting organization.

CPESN USA is directed by a board of community pharmacy owners appointed by their local CPESN Network. It is a network of networks run by community pharmacies for community pharmacies.

Mississippi Independent Pharmacies Association (MIPA)

Mississippi Independent Pharmacies Association was formed in 2002 to provide a unified voice for independently owned pharmacists in public policy discussions. The association was created by independent pharmacists and promotes independent, community pharmacies on a statewide and national level.

National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA)

Founded in 1898, the National Community Pharmacists Association is the voice for independent pharmacies, representing over 19,400 pharmacies that employ more than 230,000 individuals nationwide. Community pharmacists are local healthcare problem-solvers who can customize solutions to local health challenges for groups and employers.

Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS)

The Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) serves as a catalyst for the clinical and translational sciences between the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy and UMMC. CCTS facilitates the translation of basic research discoveries into clinically validated therapies to improve the health of populations in Mississippi and beyond.
