Biography

Stella Connell is the Manager of Marketing and Communications for the Ole Miss Business School. She directs a full-service communications program, including all the marketing and branding efforts for the school. Connell leads the development and dissemination of all collateral materials and oversees all communications platforms in traditional, digital and social media.

She directed the school’s centennial campaign by re-launching the school’s magazine “BusinessFirst;” edited a 200-page illustrated book, “Ole Miss Business: The First 100 Years,” and wrote and directed a 20-minute feature film of the school’s history since its inception in 1917.

Prior to her role with the Ole Miss Business School, Connell lived in New York City for almost two decades, working in the book publishing industry as an agent and a publicist. She received both B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of Alabama and completed the Radcliffe Publishing Course at Harvard as one of two scholarship recipients.
